South African born, Dr Hayden Pooke has a Master’s Degree in Chiropractic and is an Internationally Certified Sports Chiropractor (ICSC) and Scoliosis Clinician with over 25 years of international experience at the highest level.

He has been the Officially Appointed Chiropractor for many South African Sports Teams including the Natal Sharks Rugby Team and has provided Sports Chiropractic services to professional athletes at many prestigious international sporting events.

He is an active member of both the Australian Chiropractors Association (ACA) and International Federation of Sports Chiropractic (FICS). He is a FICS certified ICSC Instructor and is currently serving on the FICS Membership Commission.

He is the former founder and Chairman of the Sports Chiropractic Council Malaysia (SCCM) and ex-CEO of TAGS Spine and Joint Specialists, which was at the time with 13 clinics, Malaysia’s largest private Chiropractic and Physiotherapy service provider.

In 2020 he received the CHT “Pursuit of Excellence (Expatriate) Award” in recognition of outstanding achievements and contributions to Malaysian Society and his company was awarded “Chiropractic Specialty Provider of the Year in Asia Pacific” by Global Health & Travel.

Dr Hayden also has over 15 years of experience in Scoliosis and Hyper-Kyphosis management and bracing and since coming to Australia in 2022 was the full time Scoliosis and Hyper-Kyphosis clinician at ScoliCare Brisbane. He is a certified advanced physiotherapeutic scoliosis and hyper-kyphosis specific exercise provider (ScoliBalance Level 2).

Dr Tamara Meuwese has a Master’s Degree in Chiropractic, a PhD in Musculoskeletal Radiology and 20 years of international clinical experience. As well as treating the spine, Dr Tamara has a special interest in upper and lower limb conditions that commonly affect the shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand, hip, knee, ankle, and foot.

Dr. Tamara is highly skilled in Shockwave and Laser Therapy, Spinal Decompression Traction, Corrective Knee Bracing, Foot Orthotics, and Targeted Rehabilitative Exercise. She also uses Diagnostic Ultrasound for extremity assessments and advocates a multi-modal approach for better patient outcomes.

Certified in ScoliBalance (Level 1), Dr. Tamara has also developed expertise in physiotherapeutic scoliosis and hyper-kyphosis-specific exercises (PSSE). Her career highlights in Malaysia, include leadership roles at TAGS Spine & Joint Specialists, managing 13 clinics and training healthcare providers, and academic positions including Head of Department and Programme Director for Chiropractic at the International Medical University. She completed her PhD in 2017 at Unviversiti Putra Malaysia and has also contributed as a Subject Matter Expert for Malaysia’s Ministry of Health in Chiropractic standards and research.

Dr Tamara has always had an interest in research and has had the opportunity to both supervise research students at a university level and co-author and publish Chiropractic research papers of her own. Her real passion, however, has always been as a patient-facing clinician, hence her decision to return to full time clinical practice here in Australia.

In 2024, Dr. Tamara was appointed a Key Opinion Leader for EMS DolorClast Australia and is a clinical trainer for EMS Radial Shockwave and High Power Laser devices.

Spine, Limb & Scoliosis Hervey Bay has been appointed an EMS Centre of Excellence, where Dr Tamara offers a full range of EMS services, including Radial and Focused Shockwave and High Power Laser therapies.

Meet Kitsune the unofficial boss and much-loved mar’kit’ing manager of Spine, Limb and Scoliosis.

While she may not hold a medical degree, Kitsune takes her role very seriously. Whether she’s keeping laps warm, inspecting equipment, or brightening someone’s day with a head bump, she’s a natural at patient care. With a tail held high and a calming purr, Kitsune brings a dose of comfort and smiles to both patients and staff alike.
